Can you use the "New" button on the Contacts related list?  That's what it does - it creates a new Contact that looks up to the original Account.

Go to Quick/Find...Search and Type Account. Then go to the Button, Links and Action.

Now, have something like following,

Save it and go to Account record's page layout => Go to Custom Links => drag that link under Custom Links section.
