Create custom button on custom object

Hi,
I want to create button on custom object aUser-added images per below image how i create button on highlight view please show example

Hi Tarun,

Follow steps given below,

Step :1 (Goto Custom Object settings & Click New button and link)

User-added image

Step :2(Create new list button)
User-added image
(For the Link Used in button click NEW button in Custom Object,Copy the link and Paste it )


Step :3(Place the Created button in list view)

Step :4 (Button is Created)

I've followed these steps, but have not been able to see the button. Could this be becasue my button is on an object that is "in development"?
