Challenge Not yet complete... here's what's wrong: You need to run Salesforce Optimizer for your org.

i m facing the same issue.. the page hungs and i can only see a blank page. If i refresh the blank page it says "It’s not you, it’s us. We’re busy preparing the latest version of the report. But check back periodically."

Looks issue on salesforce side.

Same thing here. I click the Run Optimizer button, the second window (blank) opens... then nothing. I think that optimization is an async operation so I'm probably in a queue, but now I'm stuck and can't move forward with the challenge while I'm waiting.

Thanks, Patrick. I saw your feedback come in, and I was mentioned on the Success Community. I've notified the team who owns Optimizer; we'll have to wait for them to resolve whatever issue is preventing Optimizer from running.

I've followed the steps about 20 times in 4 different Trailheads but no matter what I cannot get this to work, which means I can't get through the very first Challenge for the Lightning Super Badge.  This is infuriating and also a major issue for me as this badge is mandatory for work.  Is anyone alive out there who can answer this?  No error messages, I'm just told I'll receive the report and then never do.

I spent about 2 hours on this yesterday. I did all 4 modules to unlock the superbadge, created a new Trailhead Playground, ran optimizer, did the lightning experience readiness check, made the two new users and permissions sets, and successfully passed the first challenge. I contacted the Optimizer team and there are no known issues with Optimizer. @Manohar: We'll need more specifics to be able to help. If you can send an email to trailhead at salesforce dot com with your username and password for your Trailhead Playground, the support team can take a look at your org.

  1. The Optimizer is running and sending the report to the wrong email address, or
  2. The Optimizer isn't running.
I don't recall this precise challenge, but it has to pull your email address from somewhere -- maybe from the playground, or more likely from your Trailhead. So you might double check to see if you've got the correct email address on your Trailhead account.

In the case of the second possibility, I see from the thread above that there were issues with the Optimizer running back in the fall. You might ping the Trailhead team (using the feedback link on the module), or perhaps connect with @ChrisDuarte to see if there are issues with it again.

Optimizer report it self is working, but the Check Challenge on step 1 is still not working.  I tried different orgs, different types of org.  When I reported it again they did not offer to check it for me.  @Manohar I hope they can help  you.  Please post update here.  Good luck.

However, the first Challenge still gives me an error message and tells me that I need to run Salesforce Optimizer even though I've clearly done so. Looks like the issue is with the Trailhead Challenge not recognizing that the Optimizer has run in my Trailhead. I've followed your advice and emailed Trailhead Salesforce with my information, hopefully they can help.*

Did you open the Optimizer report and review it? Did you run the Lightning Experience check and view the results? Did you create the users and permissions sets? I just did all these steps, so I know the challenge is working as expected. @Posey if you'd like support to check your org, you can provide your Trailhead Playground username and password to the same email address I provided.

I found out the problem. If you run multiple time the readiness check or visual force check or there is already some file in your org. The org file limit exceeds. So optimizer can not upload the file in your orgs 'File' object. Try to delete unnecessary file and keep only readiness, visualforce and optimizer. I t should work. Also you must configure the permission set as asked.

I deleted all the files and reran, but still getting the same issue. Thanks anyway. Not thrilled of the only other solution of "just start everything else again from scratch in a new trailhead". I have a lot of stuff in this trailhead that I want to keep.

@Manohar you don't have to lose that org where you have other things in it. You can connect up to 10 Trailhead Playground orgs to Trailhead. The suggestion is just to make a new Trailhead Playground just for this superbadge. It's the first step of the superbadge, so hopefully not too hard to do these steps in the fresh Trailhead Playground.

@Chris I created a new Trailhead Playground and did all of the prep work and created the two users/permission steps just to see if it worked.  I'm still getting exactly the same error when trying to pass Challenge One, "You need to run Salesforce Optimizer for your org".  I really thought starting from scratch would work.  Now I'm at my wits end.  I tried different browsers and everything.  Installing the package and adding users/permissions are pretty basic along with running the Optimizer, I can't see how that isn't working.

Here is workaround. I got the same issue. Recreated playground and run Optimizer and Readiness tools from Lightning Experience and it passed.

@Chris, just checking in to see if there were any findings on the two trailheads I sent in.  I would have thought the brand new one I created would have worked since it just needed to show the package was installed, although I followed all the steps for Challenge 1 as well.

Hi @Manohar, as the Optimizer is run multiple times it has generated multiple xls files in your TPO. Can you please delete all SalesforceOptimizerReport_*.xls files from the Files tab and check the challenge. You need not rerun the Optimizer after deleting the xls files. It should work.

Hi Satya, I'm completely stuck on Challenge 6 of this badge and wondering if its something environmental. I keep receiving the error: Challenge Not yet complete... here's what's wrong: Didn't find the All Lusso Scarpe Employee group record page. Since you have access to my Trailhead I'm hoping you can see what's wrong. I've googled everywhere and followed all of the advice I could find but no luck.

@ChrisDuarte Any chance you can have someone look at why Challenge 6 for this Trailhead isn't working for me?  I emailed the question to the Trailhead email today.  I posted the question on the Challenge 6 forum a few days ago after googling for an answer everywhere but nobody appears to be monitoring that.  After the great job you guys did in helping me and others resolve Challenge 1, I'm hoping the same thing can happen for Challenge 6.

@Manohar, As per the error message shared by you It looks like the Group Record Page is not configured by you.

Requirement: In the final part of the step 'Finally, create the Chatter group indicated in the requirements and customize the group record page so it displays the specified information.  

As per the Phase1 Requirements of the Lightning Experience Rollout Specialist Superbadge, In the Group Record Page:
'The group should display the following information on the right side of the page: recommended groups and individuals to follow and the most popular topics currently under discussion.'

Hence you may please do the following steps to resolve the issue:
1. Click Groups tab 
2. Select 'All Lusso Scarpe Employees' Group Page.
3. Click Setup and Click Edit Page
4. Add the following lightning components
i. Recommendations
ii. Trending Topics
5. Save and Activate the Page

Now check the challenge! It should work!

Please acknowledge if you are able to solve the issue.

@Manohar, It looks like you have created the Group Record page multiple times. Can you please delete both the Group Record Pages and follow the above steps again.

To delete the pages: 
1. Go to Lightning App Builder 
2. Delete Group Record Page and Group Record Page1

And then do the above steps again!

Thanks for the information about deleting the Optimizer files in order to pass Challenge 1. Note that I I needed to leave a single Optimizer PDF report in order for it to pass.

I deleted the Group Record Pages and the Chatter group and recreated them. Still getting the same error.

Please follow this steps in the given order to resolve your issue:
1. Go to Lightning App Builder 
2. Delete Group Record Page (Note: if the page is assigned as Org default, un assign it by clicking activation button)

After confirming that Group Record Page is deleted and is not listed in the Lightning App Builder, Please do the following steps:
1. Click Groups tab 
2. Select 'All Lusso Scarpe Employees' Group Page.
3. Click Setup and Click Edit Page
4. Add the following lightning components
    i. Recommendations
    ii. Trending Topics
5. Save and Activate the Page (Note: Activate the Page and set it as Org Default! if this is not done, challenge can not be completed!)

It should work. If you still have a problem can you please create a new thread, as this thread is addressing issue with running the Optimizer! If it works, Please acknowledge!

Hi! I'm trying to do the same Lightning Experience Rollout Specialist Super Badge and run into problems with the optimizer as well. I checked the files but in my case none were made.
I get the following error every time I try to run the optimizer: "Try again later: It's not you it's us. We're busy preparing the latest version of the report. But check back periodically" and I get an email telling me the following: "Your Salesforce Optimizer Report Isn't Available. Something went wrong during authentication. Contact Support with this error message: api_error_message".

Do I really need to log a case or can anybody here help me? Thanx!!
