How allow external users to Content Delivery files?

Hi,

I have a visualforce page(site.com) which should allow internal and external users to upload files/images to Salesforce. Internal users dont have any problem but external users can only view the file and not upload it. I also don't get any error message.

Does anybody know a solution for this?

thank you

Hi Hope,

Sorry for this issue you are encountering.

Idea from the success community:

Partner Portal users can contribute content and view content, but they are currently unable to use Content Deliveries. Please enable this!!

Use case: Partner is assigned an opportunity to work on. Salesforce instance owner would like to see all the files that are communicated with the prospect. By providing Content Deliveries, instance owner can incentivize using Content as means of storing AND delivering, which adds value for the Partner.

Without the ability, to deliver the content that is uploaded, using Content just becomes something you have to mandate, with little value add for the Partner user.
