Updating records owned by deactivated user

Hello,

I can’t update records owned by deactivated SF account.
What is the best practice to deal with records owned by deactivated SF account? Just transfer them?

That's right - you'll need to transfer the ownership to someone else to edit them, or change your sharing rules so that people who aren't owners can edit.
