Where does the records reside when the Offline feature is enabled? Are the records on the user's computer or in the cloud?

Hai,
when u create offline salesforce then an salsforceenvironment(that is called offline BriefCase) has created statically on your pc,when u r offline if u made any changes ,that changes doesnot reflect to saleforce ,but on u r pc u can view changes.Records are stored on ur pc.
if u want to reflect chages on in ur login,then u need to syncronize data.forthat u have option "SyncronizeBriefcase ".
Only u can get leads,opportunities,Account,contact Standard objects in offline edition.
