Control on Submit For Approval button

Hi,

 

I need to conditionally  submit records for approval.

I need to let the record be submitted only if the values in 2 picklists are certain values. Can you please suggest on  how this can be achieved

Why dont you use of the : - 

Entry Criteria to fire the Approval Button selectively , you can have more than 1 condition in the entry criteria.

 

Hope this should resolve your query
