How to Rename the standard buttons

Hi,

 

I have 2 custom objects. I am creating the many to many relationship with these two objects. Now i am get the junction object related list in two objects. Now i want to rename the standard new button name( which in related list of main objects. Please any one help me for solving this.

Hi,

 

 I dont think you can change the label of Standard button, but you can create a custom button and apply the same functionality.

 

for ex: if Opportunity is related list in Account, you can create a custom button in opportunity object and then make it visible in account pagelayout ( by enabling in properties oppurtunities related list)

Hi Lakshmi,

 

Gunners is right, you can n't change Standard buttons name on Standard pages, but you can use your own button name on custom VF pages and on that custom button name you can perform standard save button login.

OR

The Other way is using custom object button explained by Gunners.
