Error while deploying change set : Approval process deployment

Hi Friends,

 

Has anyone tried deploying an approval process using a change set?

 

I'm getting the following error while deploying the change set: Process definition: an unexpected error occurred . please include this error id if you contact support : 216187271-8272

 

Any help ??

Hello Rahul,

 

Please confirm if the entry criteria of the approval process is referring to any Record Type, if yes then it is a known issue and workaround is Use Force.com IDE or Ant tool to migrate the meta data. Link of the known issue:

No entry criteria is not related to the record type. There are no record types defined for this object. Entry criteria is 3 fields(1 std and 2 custom fields) of this objects should not be null.
