Filter "closedDate >: System.Today().addMonths(-6)" on Case report

I want to create a report on case where closedDate >: System.Today().addMonths(-6)

i not able to understand how i add the filter on Closed date as "cosedDate >: System.Today().addMonths(-6)"

 

Please help .It's urgent

If you're having questions on the Salesforce reporting engine itself and not raw code, you're in the wrong Discussion Board man - that's probably why you weren't getting any replies here.  =)

 

What you need to do in the Report Builder is to add a Field Filter for "Closed Date", specify the operand to be "greater than" and literally type in "LAST 6 MONTHS" in the criteria field instead of a date.
