CHANGE DATATYPE IN MANAGED PACKAGE

How can we change the datatype of a Object Field which is in managed package? If anyone has any idea about that please reply as soon as possible. Its an urgent requirement.

Not possible as this could have the potential to break the logic in a managed package. If it was unmanaged this would be a different story as you would be able to adjust any code as needed.
