Its a crazy idea buit it might just work.
All you need to do is (alternatives are available):-
1. Load the logo into the documents collection.
2. Goto Setup--> App Setup --> Customize --> Home --> Home Page Components --> New Custom Component
3. Create a new image and choose your logo.
4. Edit the homepage layout. Add your 'logo' item.
5. Complete the wizard.
Goto your home page and it should pop up.
You might need to be careful with the size of it though.
