overriding the Name links of <chatter:newsfeed/>

Dear All,

 

I am using the <chatter:newsfeed/> in Visualforce page and its working Good

 

Requesting for help in

 

1     redirecting the "Name" links (in chatter:newsfeed) to custom visualforce page

 

OR

 

2    removing those hyperlink options (user should not be redirected to profile in standard page)

Hi Santosh,

I don't believe you can do this, the options for customisation of this component are rather limited.

However there is the option of building your own using the Chatter Connect API (also known as Chatter in Apex). This gives you access to the feed records in apex classes, so you can define your own UI.
