date/time field formats with different locale in Visualforce page vs Sites page

Hi,

 

You can correct it by doing the following,

 

Go to Setup--Develop--Sites--Your site label--Public Access Settings--(you will be taken to site's guest user profile) View Users -- Edit (your site's guest user account) time zone here.

Thanks, that did the trick.  I had looked under the normal User's admin page, expecting to see a user account specific to Sites, and couldn't find it there.  And I did the public access settings form the sites page, but it never occurred to me that I had to do the View Users.
