Custom settings

Hi All

Just trying to Use Custom Setting in a Formula field. I have too many custom formula field on the account Object and hit the limit of max 15. Would like to know how can i use Heirarchical Custom setting in Cross Object Formuls..Many Thanks in advance

Hi namo,
There should not be limitation of 15 custom formula fields. You can have upto 500 custom fields in an object and that could all be formula fields too. Custom Settings are basically like custom objects as well, and they show up in the formula fields as $Setup.customSettingName__c.

Sorry, i meant the formula field with using cross object fields. What i am looking for is - In accounts Object instead of using a cross object formula field i i create a formula field and use custom settings ..
