Launch map app from Salesforce1

I have a requirement to launch the map application from Salesforce1. Is it possible to do so either in browser or directly?

No, I don't want to use Google Maps

It is not possible to launch another native app from Salesforce1 as it's running a WebView and can't invoke any feature directly on the device. Hope this helps.
