How to bring back the failed/errored components or apex related things from Production to sandbox?
could some one provide me the steps to follow.. can i see the error messages in the deployment status page which came out as a result during the deployment.

If you are deploying through changeset/Eclipse, if there is any error occurred during deployment then It will be automatically rollbacked and error message will be displayed in the deployment status page.
None of your change sets deployed or waiting for deployment or the error messages you got while deployment wont be copied over to sandbox upon refresh.
