Force.com down

I am aware that there are issues with Na15, however, we are on Na9 and we can't load anything. Why is this affecting us?

I called support and they told me at the time that is was NA15 causing the problem, then I did see the issue posted with force.com. What I'm not understanding is why there is no failover in place, we have been down for over an hour now and I've received 0 updates.
