Home page component is compatible with lightning experience ?

Hello,
please tell me about Home page component in lightning experience
Home page component in salesforce classic is compatible with lightning experience?
I have two application which are shown to the home page component in salesforce classic. so Now I want to show them also
in lightning experience.. 
Please provide me any solution regarding it,

Hello Nansi ,
I have install both package in my org. Both app is very useful. But i did not find any way to implement in lightning experiance. Currently we can't edit Home page component . This freature may be introduce in next relaese of the Lightning Experiance.

I read that document, I got to know that home page component is not in lightnuing component..
but I want to know "Is their any specific place in lightning experience UI where i can place my application view. which is fixed like home page component in salesforce classic".

In which I have no visualforce tab,no custom application ..

So please provide me any solution regarding this, where i can show this in lightning experience UI.. and how?
