How do I enable API for Tableau use

Hi,

When I tried to connect to Salesforce from Tableau I'm getting an arror for the below reason :

"API_DISABLED_FOR_ORG: API is not enabled for this Organization or Partner"

Help would be greatly appreciateed !

What is your salesforce edition? API access is not available by default for contact, group and professional editions : http://help.salesforce.com/HTViewSolution?id=000005140

Professional Edition, Can you enable it ?

You need to contact salesforce to get it enabled and most likely it will not be free.
