Hi Rahul,
Thanks for your response but this still does not solve my purpose.
If you read the trailhead that I shared  I am looking for mysalesforce to be searched under in the Quick Find box

Before we dive into the nitty-gritty of how to create a branded version of your Salesforce mobile app, let’s take a step back and review the overall process so you know what to expect.
Here are the basic steps:
  1. Sign up for the mySalesforce program. Contact your salesforce.com sales rep for more information.
  2. Design your branded assets and upload them to Salesforce.
  3. Receive a beta version of your app.
  4. Thoroughly test the beta.
  5. Approve the app and allow Salesforce to submit it to Google and Apple.

  1. From Setup, enter mySalesforce in the Quick Find box, then select mySalesforce.
  2. Click Let’s Get Started.
  3. Enter a name for the mySalesforce project. Choose wisely—you can’t edit the project name after you set it. (This is for internal reference only; it won’t display publicly in Google Play or the App Store.)
At this time, you’re limited to one mySalesforce project per organization.
  1. Enter your company’s name. Same thing applies here: It’s for internal reference, it won’t display publicly, and you can’t change it later.
  2. Click Next.
Important
mySalesforce isn’t available in Salesforce Setup until your organization licenses the feature. Contact your salesforce.com sales rep for more information.

Regards,
Ridhi

Hi Ridhi,

I've not got any concrete details, though I did hear that it was going to be around $25/user/month (this was 2nd or 3rd hand, so take with a pinch of salt)
Probably best to contact your account manager.

DavidSC, thank you for posting a link to the video.  Is there a trailhead module that explains how to leverage the communities functionality that Dan mentioned so that the app can reach all customers and not just be accessible to the users in the respective org?  Thus far on this trailhead module, https://trailhead.salesforce.com/modules/salesforce1_branded_apps/units/salesforce1_branded_apps_create#,
they describe that the mySalesforce app in basically a new skin over the Salesforce app.
