Hi Ramakant - I was wondering if there is any easiest option like right click and clone the standard object... anything like this?

Hi Shani,

Lets take contact as a standard. On Contact there is Clone Button but it will not clone related lists.

Hey Ramakant,

I think you misread me, I wanted to clone the Standard object and not its associated data records. I read through few articles and it seems there is no straight way of doing it.

It can be done through eclipse but i saw it for Custom object they did it for. I am still checking any clean article where the clonning object concept clearly explained.

Anyways, thanks for taking time to reply.
