What does "Customer Portal users can't access this object" mean?

While developing a lightning component I wanted to access a sforce object FiscalYearSetting from Controller. Will it work when someone else uses my component?

Hi Ashutosh,

Sorry for this issue you are encountering.

May I request you please confirm if you have access to the Customer Portal Profile to configure Field Accessibility?

If yes, then please make sure to check the box on the Custom Objects that says "Available for Portal".

Please let us know if this helps.

Thanks,
Nagendra
