what would a company expect me to work on if i ahve 1.5 years of salesforce experience...plz explain??

as per my experience , basic understanding of salesforce platform and CRM,
 basic understanding of triggers, apex class and test classes,
in admin part you should have to good knowledge about standard and custom objects, object relationship,workflow, process and org setup things.

  and seriously there is lot's of things in salesforce so it's all depend on you that you will specify your experience criteria, such as in which salesforce areas you have worked.

Tip : if you have good amount of trailhead (https://trailhead.salesforce.com/)badges in your bucket then it will be an advantage for you. and they will be expected that you have basic knowledge of salesforce lightning.
