Force.com IDE2 is crashing in 64-bit 4GB

Force.com IDE2 is working for 8GB but in Force.com IDE2 documentation no where it is mentioned that it will not work with 4GB. Need confirmation so that requests can be raised to upgrade RAM to 8GB for all systems so that Salesforce DX can be implemented.

This troubleshooting tip(https://developer.salesforce.com/docs/atlas.en-us.sfdx_ide2.meta/sfdx_ide2/sfdx_dev_troubleshoot_cancel_auth.htm?search_text=scratch%20org) from the Salesforce DX Developer Guide worked for me on MacOS.

It also has instructions for Windows (which I cannot test).

It's basically the same as @Mario Hammer's comment -- kill whatever other process is using the port the authorization needs.
