How can I retake a challenge in Trailhead?  I thought I was able to this before.  I am in one of my Trailhead playgrounds.

Hello Steve,
You can retake a Hands-On challenge but not a Quiz Challenge.
The link is below where the challenge indicates that the points have been awarded.

You can take Re-Challange only for 500 points but not for 100 points (As Gilbert say)

Go to on that trail which you want to retake challenge.

Please Choose best answer if you understand and now eligible for this think.
