Sandbox credentials on Android?

I downloaded Salesorce on my android phone. My production credentials work. However, when I try to log in my selecting "Change Server" and picking Sandbox from the menu, I get Incorrect Password error when I enter my Production credentials.I am completely new to Salesforce. Can someone please help?

Thanks!

Hi Anjani

If you are entering your Production credentials for Sandbox login, it wouldn't work. You need to enter your unique Sandbox username which is your Production username appended with the name of the Sandbox.

You can find this by logging into your Production org, Setup > Administration Setup > Data Management > Sandboxes

If the name of the Sandbox is 'test', and your Production username is Anjani@company.com, your Sandbox username is Anjani@company.com.test

Your Sandbox password will be the same as your Production password.

Also test this first by logging into https://test.salesforce.com, and if it works, you should be able to login on your phone.

Thanks, Jawaad

You need to put your username.SandboxName and use the same password.

Thanks Jawaad and Jon. Here is what I found. I did not have any Sandboxes under the path you advised. So I created a new one.The status of this newly created Sandbox is "Pending". Do you think I should wait for it to become active before I should try to log in again?

Hey, I got an email notification that my just created Sandbox is ready to use. Now,I am able to log in to the sandbox https://test.salesforce.com/ by using my production user name appended with my Sandbox name. I struggled for 3 hours . Thanks a ton gentlemen!!
