Is there any possibility to deploy the process builder as active status?

Hi All,

I would like to know if there is a possibility to deploy the process builder with active status in any way of deployment?. Currently I am facing the issue like is it was deployed through Ant migration tool with inactive status. So, I have to manually activate it after deployment.

Thanks in Advance!

Based on Salesforce documention "An active flow in a change set is deployed to its destination as inactive. Activate the flow manually after deployment."

See it here .

I believe that is the only way as of now. Even if you push it via ChangeSet it has to be manually activated.

Hi Gupta,

Yes you are right, even I found some idea link as follows regarding the same issue. I have also voted for it.

Look here https://help.salesforce.com/articleView?id=flow_distribute_deploy_active.htm&type=0 in the documentation for "Deploy Processes and Flows as Active". It is now possible!

Just for anyone else who stumbles here via a search... yes, it's now possible to deploy flows/process builder flows as active into your production org but this setting ("Deploy Processes and Flows as Active") is not available in sandboxes. You may still need a workaround/manual process.

You must opt in to deploy active processes and flows. From Setup, enter Process Automation Settings in the Quick Find box, then select Process Automation Settings. Select Deploy processes and flows as active.
When you deploy an active process or flow in a production org, Salesforce runs your org’s Apex tests and confirms that enough of your processes and flows have test coverage. Specifically, the Apex tests must launch at least 75% of the total number of active processes and active autolaunched flows in your org. The required percentage is the same as the code coverage requirement for Apex code. If the required percentage isn’t met, the deployment is rolled back.
