Data import wizard updates contact owner to user who is importing when mass updating the contacts

Hi All,

When updating Contacts with the Data Import Wizard, and select "Match Contact by Name" the Contact Owner becomes the importing user. Even though contact owner is not added in the csv. Why it behaves so?

Hi Dhanya,

By default the owner of contact is the owner of the account associated with this contact.
