Approval History related list - hide Submit for Approval

Hi,

I have a case where the customer wants Submit for Approval button on Approval History related list to be removed.
Is that possible and if yes - how ?

Hi Elvis,

The actual answer is NO.

I don't know of a way to remove that(I don't think there is a way either). But as a workaround, you could create a hidden checkbox field called 'Is Approved' which will be checked via Field Update added as a Final Approval Action on the Approval Process.

Then in the Entry Criteria, you can add that a Filter. Meaning: 
Is Approved equals FALSE

I will use the workaroud you talked about.

But still, that button will be visible even if the Approval process is not triggered.
