Current vs Previous Week totals by Opportunity Amount Classification

Hi all,  I'm a week into learning Salesforce and I'm looking for a way to view previous week totals by opportunity amount classification compared directly to current weeks totals in order to track the difference.  Any suggestions how that can be achieved? Opp Example

Are you trying to achieve this voa a Salesforce report?  If so, you can create your report, add the needed fields and filters as well as choosing the Report type such as Tabular, summary or etc.  Then I would use Close date as a grouping and then click the grouping and choose to group dates by week.  This will then group your opps by week and when you sum the amount field you will then get your weekly totals.  Doe sthis help?
