App Customization Specialist Superbadge Section 2: "The 'Volunteer Organization' field's filter is not configured correctly."

Stuck on this. I'm assuming it's referring to the field filter on Volunteer Organization on the Volunteer Activity object (which restricts a new Volunteer Activity record to being associated only with any Volunteer Organizations that are Accepting Activities).

I currently have the filter set to
Volunteer Organization: Volunteer Organization StatusEQUALSAccepting Activities. This seems right to me. Anybody else see this and have any suggestions?

Hi Manish, is your relationship type Look-up or Master-detail? Check that one.

Thanks for the reply. I was able to complete it by re-doing the challenge. Relationship type wa Master-detail only.

Hi Dave,
That appears to be exactly what I have on every line. I am not receiving the error you are getting. Unfortunately, if may not be on the screen you have shared even though the error message certainly sounds like it should be.

Hello Wade - thank you for your information. At least now I know I'm on the right track. I created a new org and started over. After completing challenge #1 the first thing I did was configure the Volunteer Organization field filter. It errored out, but because other items were not completed, suggesting I was beyond the field filter error. So thanks for your help. DG

I am also getting the same error . My filter criteria is
Filter criteria : Volunteer Organization: Volunteer Organization StatusEQUALSAccepting Activities) AND (Volunteer Organization: Account Record Type EQUALS Volunteer Organization Account).
I have tried all the solution but nothing is working.

It took me a while to get this solution: (Volunteer Organization: Volunteer Organization StatusEQUALSAccepting Activities) AND (Volunteer Organization: Account Record TypeEQUALSVolunteer Organization Account)
The problem I was having was I was accidently using the Parent Account instead of just the account.

Make sure when you add the record type filter you select the Volunteer Organization Account from the magnifying glass list and you don't just enter the text.  Then it should work if configured as below:

Hi, I had the same issue and tried lots of things. It worked when I requested a fresh playground org and installed the package.

This challenge is real finnicky. It works when you use the "suggested" field settings. i.e. Don't use Record Type -> Record Type Name "equals" blah blah.

Hi All,

While selecting the recordc type filter, please make sure that you are selecting the accont record type.

Volunteer Organization > Account Record Type > Insert

and find the record type in look up. It should solve the issue.

Dont do xxxxxxx Volunteer Organization > Account Record Type > Record Type > Insert xxxxxxxx
