Trailhead App Cust Spec superbadge challenge 2 using a new TH playground error id: PLDJYUWT

Trynig to check challenge #2 in the App Customization Specialist TH SB. This is a fresh playground created for this purpose. If I remove the Volunteer Organization filter criteria at fails simply stating an error in the filter but if I put it in it fails with: 

Challenge Not yet complete... here's what's wrong: 
There was an unexpected error while verifying this challenge. Usually this is due to some pre-existing configuration or code in the challenge Org. We recommend using a new Developer Edition (DE) to check this challenge. If you're using a new DE and seeing this error, please post to the developer forums and reference error id: PLDJYUWT

Any suggestions? And yes this is a fresh new TH PG for this SB. Thank you

I saw those already before putting up the post. The second one https://developer.salesforce.com/forums/?id=9060G0000005XacQAE deals with roll-up summary issues and not with Volunteer Org filter criteria. Mine looks exactly like your third cite: https://salesforce.stackexchange.com/questions/213327/issue-on-2-of-app-customization-specialist but fails and I'm looking for hints on how to do the volunteer org filter criteria correctly.
