create new report in community

Hi ,

i have logged in as System Admin in community and i do not see the option for create new report. I can just the existing reports.

Hi Shalini,

Sorry for this issue you are encountering.

Assuming that you are using Napili on the community.

Right now partner users can clone existing reports but not create reports on objects they have access too.

We were facing a similar issue. Here is the workaround we used to allow a Partner Community user using Customer Service Napili template to be able to create reports:

1. Create a new Community using Visualforce Tabs template.
2. Disable Welcome Email.
3. Add profiles to this new Community, only the ones which are added to Partner Community.
4. Remove all tabs. Show only Report tab.
5. Create a new Visualforce page and add an iframe to point to Create New Report standard page of new Community created in step 1. In the iframe URL, add "?isdtp=mn" to hide header and footer from Visualforce Tabs Community page. Give access to profiles.
6. Use this VF page in Customer Service Napili template.
