unable to submit a challenge for trailhead:

Error: Step not yet complete... here's what's wrong:
There was an issue processing your verification. Please refresh the page and try again.User-added image
I am using dev org (not any trailhead ground).
Please let me know howto fix this.

try this option .. 
 
  1. First Complete login into the dev org 
  2. then try to login into trailhead org 
  3. Then  Use dev org while processing verification

Hi,
This is usually a temporary glitch.
Suggestion:
Logout from trailhead clear your browser's cache and cookies. Login again into trailhead. Launch your dev org. Try checking the challenge then.

Ok but this one is my own dev org. I would like to verify some challenges on my org as well. I have already earned points through this org, if I create a new one what about the exsisting work/points/metadata....

yes namespace is there. But it was present long back.

I had the same problem. I logged out - then logged in using my Developer Edition username. It then asked me to verify by entering in my mobile number. The first time I skipped this part, and that's when I was getting the verification error. So the 2nd time I logged in, I entered in my mobile number and verified. It now works and I was able to complete the challenge.

I'm facing this issue on my TP (TrailHead Playground). Clearing the browser's cache & cookies did not help. Any other suggestions ?

 I have merged without error in trailhead. it's working successful to hands-on-challeges. please connect a social network like google,facebook and linkedin. but it will be activate or merge next day to go successful.

I too am having this problem after attempting all of the above steps. It would be helpful to know why? Because the output on the UI is all fine.

Hello - here is what i did to resolve the issue.

1. Launched hands on orgs list. "https://trailhead.salesforce.com/users/profiles/orgs".

2. Disconnected the TP where i faced the issue using Disconnect (X) option. 

3. Then used "Connect an org" button to add the TP again.

And it worked.

Faced the same issue. Followed the steps mentioned by Cyril and it worked for me. Just try disconnecting & reconnecting your Dev org and it will work.
