unable to find cli in trailhead intermediate

While doing trailhead I got stuck in a unit of developer intermediate (Install the sample API in UI chapter), which is asking to open CLI. I'm unable to understand which CLI they are mentioning about. Kindly guide me through!

Hi,

Here CLI refer to your local command prompt where you installed and cloned git repository.

Hello Sandhya,

Thanks for replying. I did try using my cmd and also GitCmd which Salesforce trailhead asked me to download. 
As you are mentioning about cloned git repository, do we have to link or something like that to our local cmd?
Please help me through it as I'm stucked for weeks.
