Import data for super badge Lightning Experience Specialist Step 8

What do they mean when they say you can't create new fields? Does that mean no new fields in SalesForce, or do they mean you can't add any new columns to Excel that would have the data they are looking for. For example, for Explorers, the fields it is asking for are First Name and Last Name, but we only have a full name. If I split it up, then wouldn't I be creating a new field in Excel?

Hi,

1.Explorers
Split the cell containing the explorer's full name into two columns in order to map the FirstName and LastName fields.
You can use the data import wizard for the Explorer import.
For instructions regarding how to split cells within a spreadsheet reference:

2.Adventures
Note that the instructions state that no new fields should be created that means Product Code is equivalent to Adventure Code.

Thank you for the clarification on what you mean by new fields. I was having a hard time with this one since I thought I couldn't make new columns in Excel.
