How to update a picklist value from a child to parent in a process builder/workflow?

When ever the child is created i need to update a dependent picklist in the parent object.

Lookup field to parent is present in the child object.

How do i achive this in a process builder?

Hi,

According to my knowledge we cannot see the parent from child so it can,t work in the Process Builder.
