Hi, I keep getting this error, i followed all steps correctly not sure whats wrong! The 'New Oppty Compact Layout' compact list is not configured for the opportunity object.

Hi Niky,

Please follow the below steps :
1. From the Setup to launch the setup page.
2. Click the Object Manager tab.
3. Click Opportunity.
4. Under Compact Layout, click New.
5. Enter name for Compact Layout and select the field which you want on your Compact Layout. Click on Save
6. Click Compact Layout Assignment and next click Edit Assignment.
7. Here you need change the primary compact layout as new that you have created above(The primary compact layout defines the fields that display when this object's records appear as list view items in the mobile app).
8. Click on save and refresh your page.

Hi Niky,

I was able to complete the trailhead on my end without any issue. Here are my recommendations:

- Make sure you use the label "New Oppty Compact Layout" for your new Compact Layout.
- Make sure you have set it as the primary compact layout:
1. Under compact layouts, click Compact Layout Assignment button
2. Click Edit Assignment and set the Primary Compact Layout to your newly created layout.
- If this does not work, you can try to delete the old compact layout and recreate it.
