Einstein Bot Builder - Rule Action: Prechat Form

Hello!

Does anyone know how to use the Rule Action: Prechat Form option in the Einstein Bot Builder?
Is it supposed to give us the fields from the pre-chat form?
How does it work?

Hi,

Use Rules to specify the conditions that start any of the following actions: call a dialog from within the current dialog, redirect to a different dialog, clear a slot value, transfer to an agent, and save information from fields in prechat forms to specified slots. Add a Rules element to the dialog. Then define the conditions (1) and rule actions (2).

Hi Sandhya,

Thanks for the suggestion and link to the article. I am interested in using the option to "save information from fields in prechat forms to specified slots" as you said. However, I have tried using this Prechat Form feature on the Einstein Bot Builder, but it does not work, nor does it return any values. I have also read through the link (https://help.salesforce.com/articleView?id=bots_service_setup_dialog.htm&type=5), but unfortunately they also have no instructions on how to use the Prechat Form.

Would you know how to use it?
