Why Salesforce 1 app doesn't run in background?

When my salesforce 1 app is minimized or my phone's screen is locked ,my salesforce app is not capturing locations.If anybody have solution,please help.

Its your phone setting issue not salesforce 1 .

Hi Raj,thanks for your response ,but it is not working as turning off background refresh saves the mobile data.
