How do we enable Chatter on managed package objects?

We have several managed packages in our org, and we'd like to enable chatter on some of the objects.  I've added FeedTracking on several fields, but the Chatter Feed still does not show up on the records.  We'd like users to be able to post to chatter as they can with standard objects, is that possible with managed packages, or am I missing something?

Hi Russell,

If I understand your requirement correctly you can use this process to enable feed tracking for the objects in your package in the installed org. 
  • Enable a Work.com Administrator
  • Before enabling Work.com in the Org, you must allocate a Work.com User Feature License to the System Administrator who will be doing the setup.
  • From Setup, click Manage Users | Users
  • Find the System Administrator who needs a Work.com license assigned
  • Click Edit next to their name
  • In the right-hand column, click the Work.com User checkbox and Save
  • Enable Work.com Org Level Preferences
  • Administrators can adjust Work.com settings by completing the following:
  • From Setup, click Customize | Work.com | Settings
  • From here, enable the settings you wish to turn on for your Org.
