slds.css --Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 500 (Internal Server Error)

All visualforce pages on sandbox cannot make use of attribute lightningStylesheets="true". 
The message "failed to load" can be seen in browser debugger, the page displayed but without any styles (classic or lightning).

Any advice, thank you very much in advance.

Looks like a known issue in review: https://success.salesforce.com/issues_view?id=a1p3A00000031OPQAY&title=lightning-style-sheet-for-vf-page-not-working-as-expected. Hope that helps... though not as much as the patch to fix it will, I'm sure. If this is your issue, just a heads-up that it's probably only in sandbox because your production org hasn't been updated to Winter '19 yet.

Thank you for the answer. I know the issue is only in sandbox, but this weekend Salesforce intends to update production as well. Waiting for a resolution...I think there are many orgs out there with VF pages displayed using lightning styles.
