How can I use subject line in a task in a validation rule on the contact?

I'm trying to create a validation rule on the contact that checks to see if:

1: there is a task associated with that contact
2: if the subject line of the task matches a given string.

However, I just can't figure out what field to use in the formula editor for the validation rule. Is this even possible?

Thank you in advance for any replies or advice!

If I understood correctly you wanted to do it on a contact level which is not possible.

If you can give us your exact requirement what you want achieve that will help provide the right solution.

Hi Jon,

Sorry for this issue you are facing.

May I suggest you please check with below link from the success community with a similar discussion which might help you further.

Tweak the formula as per your requirement on what field you want to specify the criteria in the subject. Please let us know if you are looking for something else.

Mark this as solved if the reply was helpful.

Thanks,

Thank you for the reply. Yes I wanted to do it on the contact level. I didn't think it was possible, but I figured I'd ask and see if anyone was able to do it in anyway that I hadn't seen. Thank you!
