Experience with Lightning?

Hello everyone. We are planning to go with Salesforce Field Service Lightning in our business, and I was hoping to hear what overall experience people have with the software is. The decision is final, and I’m hoping to hear maybe about some best practices and tips on how to utilize the platform to its fullest.

Hello, Rick. First of all, going with Salesforce FSL software is, in my opinion, a good decision. There are many articles and guides on the internet that can help you with getting started on FSL. But if you want my summary from Salesforce Field Lighting Guide (https://www.omi.co/crm-configuration/salesforce-field-service-lightning-implementation-best-practices/):
Draw, refine, and memorize customer journey map;
Start collecting as much data as you can, and then choose the most important and then use it;
Watch over your business in real-time at all time;
Make sure to focus on mobile experience for both your customers and field technicians
Think client-first, technician-second, everyone else-third.
Having such approach helped us greatly in migrating and adopting salesforce FSL.
