How to display detail link in email template

Hi All,

How to display case detail link and opportunity detail link in template. I have requirement to send notification along with case link and related opportunity link in template. I have tried like below but i didnt get opportunity link. Thanks in advance

case link : {!case.link}
opportunity link :  {!Opportunity.Link}

You can use the link directly by using a tag 

 helper formula field (type = URL maybe? so it's at least a bit reusable);

 Detail page link under email template by using a tag
