How to display old date and current date in email template

Hi All,

i want to display old date and current changed date in email template using visualfore component. In case object there is commitDate field and i want to display olddate and currently changed date.

You need to create a two fields .. you cannt able to do it with one fields 
Create a field to store the old date values and new date value 

and use them in email template
