Trailhead - We can't find a Live Agent license.

I'm working on the "Prep for Einstein Bots" unit in Trailhead and after running through the steps get the following error during the Verification:

Step not yet complete... here's what's wrong:
We can't find a Live Agent license. Make sure you ran the setup flow.

However, when I look at the Company Info for the playground I'm using, there are Live Agent licenses active. I've created a  couple of different playgrounds in case there was a problem with the playground, but it doesn't appear to be the case.

Any thoughts or ideas?

I tried something similar, but it still failed the next day - or a couple of days later.  I ended up getting it to work by using an existing playground that looked exactly the same. I was able to get past the first step in that playground and completed the others in the playground I wanted to use in the first place.

Hi Hardenburgh,

Sorry for this issue you are facing.

If you have live agent licenses available then I would suggest you please double check with below steps which should fix the issue.

Go to Setup
                --> Customize
                                 --> Live Agent
                                                  --> Settings.

Also, Check "Enable Live Agent" checkbox and click "Save" button.

Hope this helps.

Kindly mark this as solved if the reply was helpful.

Thanks,
Nagendra

I ran into this exact issue as well despite following the trailhead guidance verbatim.  Disable/Re-enable live agent as described above did not work for me.  What did work, for some unknown reason, was after the last time I tried to get the work assessed by trailhead failed, I decided to try again the next day.  When I did try again the next morning, making zero changes from the day before, the assessment passed and I was able to move on to the next module.  Makes no sense, but thats what happened w/me.

Hi Ted, I ran into the same problem with a newer trailhead playground created in June 2019 (https://brave-hawk-a6njg-dev-ed.lightning.force.com).
While the tutorial asks us to add a trusted site with the value:
https://d.la2-c1-ph2.salesforceliveagent.com

The snap-ins chat widget in my playground tries to use a URL that begins with:
https://d.la3-c1-ia2.salesforceliveagent.com

To solve this, I used the oldest instance I had; a developer edition (https://na85.lightning.force.com) where the snap-ins chat widget still points to the same URL as the tutorial. Thus, the problem isn't the Live Agent License but that the test likely compares the Live Agent Endpoint in the Live Agent Settings (https://na85.lightning.force.com/lightning/setup/LiveAgentSettings/home):
https://d.la2-c1-ph2.salesforceliveagent.com/chat/rest/

This value gets populated -and is read only-, after going through the "Run the Live Agent Guided Setup Flow" steps set.
