Since everything was same, role, profile, permission sets, the issue i found was in the Locale of the user, which was set to wrong different country.

Updating the locale has sorted this issue somehow,

Hope it helps someone.

Thanks,
Nasir

Hi Nasir,

I trust you are doing very well.

Please check the OWD for the object that the report is created for. If it's Private, then the user can only see records that he/she owns or the records for owners below him/her in the role hierarchy.
In Private mode, the Owner, and anyone above them in the Role Hierarchy will have access, everyone else will not -- except when granted access through Sharing Rules.

You will either have to open up access via Sharing Rules or change OWD to Public Read Only or give View All permission to this user for this particular object on their profile or via a Permission set.

Hi @Khan Anas,

Thanks for your reply. I am still struugling to get this resolved.

There are two users who are assgined  the same profile and  same role.

One user can  generate the data in the report other one cannot. The user who is not able to generate the data is the contact owner of the record so have full access to that contact.

Both are users are part of the same public group as well. Can you please advise what else i can investigate?

Thanks,

Nasir
