I am populating few fields on opportunity which gives me the details of the users assigned to it on conversion from lead via custom leadconvert trigger.When I try to use these fields in an email template ,they are all coming blank .Why is that?

check your field level security at least you have read permission on that custom fieds if it is ok go for this link,
